![]() ![]() With Oper Frankfurt, he has been seen as Lenski in Yevgeny Onegin, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Cassio in Otello, the Italian Tenor in Der Rosenkavalier, Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, and Rodolfo in La Bohème. ![]() Chang’s previous seasons include the role of Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore at the Metropolitan Opera – a role which Chang also sang with the MET/Juilliard scenes program conducted by James Levine. Chang made his Hollywood Bowl debut as Cassio in Otello with Los Angeles Philharmonic. Additionally, Chang returned to Oper Frankfurt as the title role in Roberto Devereux, as well as the Italian Tenor in a new production of Capriccio by Brigitte Fassbaender. Chang returned to the Metropolitan Opera to sing Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor, and to Los Angeles Opera as Ismaele in Nabucco opposite Plácido Domingo. He returns to Oper Frankfurt for Alfredo in concert performances of La Traviata and returns to Santa Fe Opera to reprise the role of Rodolfo in a new production of La Bohème. ![]() Chang sang Alfredo in La Traviata, marking his debuts with both the Washington National Opera and the Atlanta Opera. This season he makes his house debuts as Duca in Rigoletto at the Norwegain Opera (Der Norske Opera), Rodolfo in La Bohème at Arizona Opera, and his debut with Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle at Washington National Cathedral. ![]() with LA Philharmonic under the baton of Maestro Gustavo Dudamel. Most recently the young tenor Mario Chang sang Beethoven’s 9th.
